This is part of an ongoing series about voter registrations at college residence halls in OH and FL and now CO. I am also going to cover a sample in NM and Hawaii, at least, in future articles.
U of C Boulder has ~31k under grad students and 1,684 are associated with residence hall address and are on the voter roll. The street address are public information listed on the U of C Boulder webs site and google maps.
Let’s compare the actual address in Chart 1 versus the address as listed in the roll. Here is a snippet in Chart 2 of the top physical address. Like may other universities examined, they do not use the physical address of the building but some derivation which includes the hall name.
Here is a sample of the mailing address in Chart 3. 125 are blank and the majority of the rest are not specific to room numbers.
Given all of the above, how are absentee ballots supposed to mailed to the correct person? Does this sounds like a prime opportunity for vote harvesting?
Chart 4 indicates that there are 352 “students” 25 years or older using a residence hall address. Chart 5 indicates that, for example, 90 of the Active registrations are for “students” 25 years or older using the residence hall as an address. 262 in this cohort have an Inactive status.
Funny aside…(not so funny)
So U of C Boulder voter registrants at Stearns Hall, includes a 75 year old named M. Hypatia. I recall reading about an infamous female mathematician in ancient times in Alexandria of the same name, Hypatia. She was stoned to death supposedly.
The modern version/namesake resides in a Boulder residence hall but receives her mail in Australia. How lucky they must be to have this reincarnate feminist residing coincidentally in Boulder CO. She is old enough to have watched the original Mork and Mindy which was set in Boulder back in the 1970's. I am surprised such an intelligent older feminist reincarnate requires a refresher undergrad degree. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypatia
Sounds to me like potential registration roll manipulation with a bit of virtue signaling mixed in?
In Chart 6 we have under grad residence hall occupants that registered to vote as far back as 1988. There are 465 “students” that registered prior to 2019.
Chart 7 indicates that these “students” are a potential boon for Democrats and No Party Affiliation voters. But is also shows that 990 ballots were deemed undeliverable. Proof that the mailing address on the roll is trash, I guess? What else am I to conclude?
Finally, if you want to know what halls are really popular for 25+ year olds to live with your young adult college students, here they are. Sound like a good idea parents?
As an old Military and Civilian analyst, I make a vociferous appeal, to investigate University of Oregon, as that University was involved with the CCP, in the instructional programs some years ago. The University is a known Leftist entity, and while some others are the connection, might be a
welcome tool for the minority Constitutional public in Oregon.
Every one you have looked at is like this?! Thank you, for all the work. I appreciate it and am taking notes.
