MAGADonians,
Please read the QR Code below. I don’t mean scan it, I mean read it….right now!
Our elected officials in their infinite wisdom have decided that your vote choices should be saved to a QR code on a printed paper ballot. Brilliant! It’s a WIN WIN. You get your “paper ballot” and your betters, known as your Secretary of State, gets to spend YOUR tax dollars on a machine that FLAWLESSLY counts your votes via a QR code.
If you weren’t such a dimwitted climate change denier, you could confirm that your vote would be COUNTED correctly just by inspecting the QR Code.
For those of you who can’t read this, use your camera for a special video dedication. For those DULL knives who can’t even scan a QR code with your phone (probaply the majority reading this) let me quote some of the lyrics.
Baby, do you understand me now?
Sometimes I feel a little mad
But don't you know that no one alive can always be an angel
When things go wrong I feel real bad.
I'm just a soul whose intentions are good
Oh Lord, please don't let me be misunderstood
To prove my point further, here is “HACKER” (yea, right) who claims to know more than our highly qualified election officials about QR Codes. Ignore these “kids” and trust the “boomers” spending your tax dollars. QR codes used in our Voting Machines have been certified by the EAC after all. There is NO WAY QR Code scanning could actually be used to HACK a Voting Machine (aka a super hardened computer).
The below email excerpts 100% prove that the use of QR Codes in Voting Machines is SIMPLE, RELIABLE and TRUSTWORTHY.
Look at the full context yourself.
If you navigate to the Sheriff Dar Leaf’s X account, you will find files which contain emails from DVS.

It was noticed that when 2 PDF's generated through ICR and then printed on OKIC931 on staples paper with "actual size" gives misread on ICC 5.10-A TB, 1 out of 10 ballots scanned with error "QR Code signature mismatch". It was noticed that QR code is smaller from ICX QR Ballot. ICRQR Code is 1.24" Square. While ICX QR Code is usually 1.36" HCR_ICX_QRBallots.jpg

We need a change to the way that cards included in a batch for the Batches loaded report is calculated. Currently, when a QR code ballot is tabulated into a batch for an election which is multi-card (each ballot packet having 1 or more cards), the total cards in the batch is incremented by both cards, even though only one physical card has been cast. This leads to problems when manually verifying batch counts, and/or verifying a total ballot count against the card counter on the physical scanner (the menu on the physical DR G-1130). We need a way of accurately reflecting in the report the total number of physical cards counted in each batch. This is necessary to accommodate risk limiting audit procedures, where counties compare the number of pieces of paper scanned to an independent ballot manifest.

ICR should support the import of EMS election data that contains quadrilingual and other multilingual combinations. 2. A Voter should receive the correct combination of the ballot for any language. 3. QR code should contain the correct ballot identifier for all languages, and the scanner should recognize all ballots for all languages.

Misread QR Ballots with Multiple QR Codes (Over voted in Duplication mode) in tail first facing down position (Frequency 2/10 times) Bug Open Normal Unresolved….It was observed that *2/10* times ICC would give "Misread" error when QR Ballot with 11 QR codes is scanned on Tail

Frequent misreads are being observed on the HiPro on Batch Start Cards with error 'Could not locate QR code on ballot' Ran multiple tests trying out different batch start cards but similar random misreads were observed. From the audit images overlay it seems that DVS logo and QR Code move in the scanned image.

We know that currently only QR Ballots with write-ins will show up in Adjudication. Now that we have duplication mode in ICX where over vote is possible should those ballot be shown in adjudication? Putting the over vote only stop condition for Adjudication will not show up ballots made through duplication feature in ICX with over votes in it. I know its a QR Ballot therefore only write-in ballot will show up for resolution but with respect to software logic should those be shown in adjudication.

When scanning with QR overvoted ballot (all choices selected, with Max Write-in characters) the tabulator returned an "Invalid Ballot" message several times depending on the paper orientation. *Face down, head first* -~65% (Invalid Ballot)

The overvote message on ICP2 is not specified for overvoted QR ballot Bug Open Normal Unresolved ………… D-suite 5.10 A ImageCast Precinct ………. ICX Some counties are using the ICX as a tool for ballot duplication, ability to set overvotes on and vote a high number of candidates [ICD-2616] When the overvoted QR ballot is scanned on ICP2, the overvote message notifies the user_"You filled in too many ovals"_ which actually refers to Hand Mark ballot. The overvote message on ICP2 should be specified for QR ballot.

Can we get some more information about how the 'Overvote by #' number is being calculated? Currently it seems to be driving from the Vote for total (e.g. "Overvoted by 1" in a "Vote for 1" contest or "Overvoted by 2" in a "Vote for 2" contest). If my assumption is correct, this could be confusing for the printed QR code ballot.
Ohhh boy.
I am going to print all of this out so I can go through it again, make side notes and highlighting. All you work is thorough. Thank you for pursuing it!
A user friendly program would list all possible errors in the manual and the correction procedures. I imagine that section would be the thickest part of the manual.
The time and effort you put in to these reports is much appreciated and noteworthy. Thank you.
